PAMO University of Medical Sciences in pursuit of her vision for excellence for the good of all, considered it needful and pertinent to organize orientation program for the 2021/2022 intakes to provide meaningful programs and opportunities to support the transition and engagement of students to the academic, cultural, and social environment of PAMO University of Medical Sciences. This is a proactive enlightenment effort to spur the fresh Student to operate at expected high levels and minimize cases of delays in graduation such as failures and mistakes that could arise from ignorance.

The keynote address: Taking Pride in Your Contribution to Our Future; The University Culture and Services was made by the Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council, His Excellency Sir Dr. Peter Odili CON, GSSRS as he welcomes the new students to PAMO University of Medical Sciences. “Welcome to your new home” he said while addressing the students. He noted that the key to success that every student should have from day one is discipline and punctuality as they have between now and the next six (6) years to become who they want to be.

He stressed that PAMO University of Medical Sciences has zero tolerance for drugs, sexual harassment and cultism. “You have an opportunity to succeed or fail, your choice is what you’ll make for yourself and that determines your future”, he said. He dwelled on the need for the scholars to note that the Rivers State Government Scholarship did not cover for any extra year should they repeat. Finally, he assured the students that the university council, management and staffs will always stand with them. “We are your new parents to guide you to success”, he concluded.
